Many people think ghost hunters don’t believe in ghosts, but I’m here to tell you that they do, and many wear their belief in the supernatural on their sleeves (or hoodies). The first question on most people’s minds when they see my ghost-hunting hoodie is, So, how many ghosts have you seen? You see, what most people don’t realize is that ghost hunting isn’t all about ghosts.

How the concept came about

I’m a paranormal investigator and most of my jobs require long hours in dark areas. In October 2016, it was the scariest thing when children were taken into strange black vans after they were seen walking home. As an investigator, I thought how many times did people witness or report strange occurrences in the van because they didn’t have the Lucky me I see ghosts hoodie on? Paranormal investigators have to have their game face on at all times because we work tirelessly to be completely alert. This hoodie is perfect for keeping your spookiness level high with your friends and family who are not involved in the ghost hunting world so you can still feel like one of them when you’re off the clock!

What it means to wear your marketing on your sleeve

What do you wear to work? Pants and a t-shirt? Dress shirt and tie? What about your marketing attire? Marketing on clothes is an excellent way to promote your brand. Not only will it help you stand out in a crowded field of companies with similar products or services, but it will also lead customers to trust your brand more easily.

Designing something like my Lucky me I see Ghosts hoodie to wear while doing my investigations made it easier for me to get into conversations with people who were curious about what I was doing. Granted not all these conversations ended well (wink), but the ones that did lead me to be referred for other jobs and private consultations.

Not everyone can be a celebrity

I’m not a celebrity or famous in any way. But that doesn’t stop people from asking for my autograph when they see me wearing my Lucky me I see Ghost’s hoodie. The only problem is that it’s not an autograph of mine, but rather a ghost-hunting company! It seems like no matter what city I go to – whether I wear this shirt or not – people want my signature! It happens so often that if I don’t wear the hoodie with the company name on it, people will ask me why. They’ll say something like I didn’t know you could be a ghost hunter too? That sounds awesome! How can we sign up? and before I know it, there are more than twenty people waiting for signatures.

The other day I was at the airport and these girls came up to me and asked Hey do you work with Kanye West merch? We saw your jacket and wondered if you were selling his clothing line? And again, before I could respond there were about four more girls who overheard the conversation and joined in with their own questions.

How people reacted

People at work were asking me about my new kanyewestmerch.ltd hoodie and when they found out it’s because I see ghosts they all said they can’t wait to read my blog post! They also started sending me ghost photos. One of the photos was really cool, a little girl in what looks like a Victorian-era dress holding a balloon but I had no idea where that photo came from or who took it so I didn’t put it up on my blog post. It would be so cool if one of you guys knew who took the photo and could tell me!

The design process behind the design

So a few years ago Kanye West was promoting his The Life of Pablo Tour and he had this really dope t-shirt that said I See Ghosts on it. I loved it so much and bought one for myself and a bunch for my friends. But then the tour ended and the shirts were no longer available to purchase. I thought about how cool it would be to have our own design that says I see ghosts on it too. So we sent over some ideas to Kanye’s merch company Kanyewestmerch.ltd and they ended up liking our idea the best!
