Not only did it provide the interns a sense of what it is like to work in an office atmosphere, but it also helped many of them build new friendships and broaden their professional networks. The interns presented a presentation on a capstone project to a group of us at the end of the Advance Auto Parts Jobs internship program. This group comprised a considerable number of my direct reports from our executive committee.

Evolution Of Our Internship

My opinion is that the evolution of our internship program from one year to the next is a crucial cause for the continuous participation of the most outstanding students in our program. A few of the college and universities that were taken into consideration were Florida International University, Clark Atlanta University (located in Georgia), Spelman College (located in Georgia), Bennett College (located in North Carolina), and North Carolina A&T State University.

Creative And Exciting Ways

The work that the interns presented as a part of their final projects led to the discovery of a number of creative and exciting ways that we could approach the organization. In addition, the interns themselves gained experience that will be of great use to them as they continue their schooling and plan for their future jobs. This experience will prove to be incredibly valuable to the interns in the long run.

Example Of Abdul Coakley

Consider the example of Abdul Coakley, a student at Hampton University who is about to enter his junior year and who only recently joined our team. While working at the Department of Economic Development throughout the summer, he devoted his time to assisting with various marketing and branding initiatives.

The Office Of DEI

He did this while working in the Office of DEI. A recent post that Abdul made on LinkedIn mention that he felt like he was a part of the team right immediately and that he was supply with all of the resources that he need in order to be successful. In addition, the post stated that he was provided with everything that he needed to be successful.

Our Finance Department

 I came in as an intern and departed as a member of a vast family, which speaks to the culture at Advance! he added. That says a lot about the company. I started out as an intern and ended up as a member of a very large family. Working Alongside The Interns
